The Gauthier Family, Jim Gauthier (left), Kaylen, Joyce, Randy and Donna, was presented
with a special plaque from Rainbow Society's Executive Director, Grace Thomson (left),
for once again being the Premier Sponsor of the 2009 Annual Auction.

Guests stormed the Shaw Dream Bag counter for their chan ce to scoop a swag-
filled bag, along with a chance to win one of three bigger prizes, including
an HD PVR and 3-month Total Home Bundle package from Shaw.

to the Dream Bag Station.

Dream Makers play Texas Hold Em in the Grand Finale Game for their chance
to win one of three prizes: a hot tub from Krevco, a diamond ring from
W.K. Chan and a personalized wine cellar from Genuwine Cellars.

Finale Game Winner, Bob Keith with wife Ev, chose to generously donate the W.K. Chan diamond ring back to The Rainbow Society to be auctioned-off.

EVENT OVERVIEW

The Rainbow Society's Annual Auction is our largest fundraising event, raising approximately $100,000.00 net. With a unique theme every year, it is a fun evening with 400 - 500 guests in attendance enjoying the live entertainment and a buffet, along with a Live and Silent Auction.

There is a wide selection of Auction Items ranging in price from $50.00 to $6,000.00 and everyone always finds something to bid on. Some items that have been up for bid in the Live Auction in the past are: a Winnipeg Goldeyes Skysuite for 20 people, a Coleman Explorer 166 Canoe, a five-course dinner for six people in your home prepared by the Executive Chef at Winnipeg Convention Centre, and Beat the Box office tickets including tickets to every upcoming event sponsored by the Winnipeg Free Press. The Silent Auction is also a hit with the guests with a variety of 100 packages to bid on.

We are looking forward to the continued success and growth of the Annual Auction, and we are delighted that the Gauthier Automotive Group has been the Premier Sponsor of this event since 1997.
