 Volunteer
Qualifications
There are two requirements if you want to be a volunteer for The Rainbow Society: you simply must be
willing to help and be 16 years of age or older.
We have various levels of time commitment, though Committee Members
tend to volunteer the most time because they attend regular meetings
to coordinate special events. As a casual, or office volunteer,
we call you to see if you are available for a specific activity.
If you are - great! But if not, we simply contact you for
the next opportunity. Of course, if you prefer a set schedule we
can accommodate that too.
As a volunteer for The Rainbow Society, you have a unique opportunity
to make a difference in the lives of Manitoba children suffering
from a life-threatening illness - by helping us to make their
special, once-in-a-lifetime dreams come true!
The Rainbow Society is a grassroots organization and, as such,
we rely tremendously on the efforts of our volunteers. Volunteers
are truly the heart of The Rainbow Society and we welcome anyone
who would generously give of their time to help make dreams come
true!
